The neuman systems model views the client as an open system that responds to stressors in the environment the client variables are physiological psychological sociocultural developmental and spiritual the client system consists of a basic or core structure that is protected by lines of resistance. The neuman systems model nsm is an operating framework designed to guide caregivers and administrators in helping those in their charge to manage stressors g globally nsm practitioners recognize the theory as a valid method to create positive client outcomes.
